Tuesday, May 19th is shaping up to be an absolute banger at the barn. We’ve got a massive run of really good cattle heading our way, including a stellar group coming right off the burnt grass that are starting to show incredible condition.
But here is what we are most excited about: we are officially kicking off our Direct-From-Ranch Video Sales in conjunction with our regular live auction.
Mark Your Clock: At exactly 3:00 PM, we are pausing the live ring auction to switch over to the big screens and sell these featured video lots.
The video clips and extra details are live on HerdStat and Facebook, but here is a breakdown of the elite consignments hitting the block this Tuesday.
Featured Video Consignments
1. Danny Parker / Spring Creek Ranch (Borger, TX)
- Cattle: 40 North Dakota-origin cows with black Angus and Angus-cross calves at side.
- Calving Date: First calves hit the ground March 10th.
- Age: 5 years old to solid mouth.
- Weight Stop: 1,375 lbs weight stop (down only) with an 80¢ slide down.
- Description: Running on grass, super gentle, and a flat-out fancy set of pairs.
- Delivery: May 20th to June 1st (Rep's option).
2. Chase Burns (Anadarko, OK)
- Cattle: 124 mixed calves (64 steers / 60 heifers).
- Dam Origin: Montana-origin cows.
- Genetics: AI’d to powerhouse Growth Fund bulls (Select Sires) and Advocate (ABS) bulls.
- Base Weight: 280 lbs.
- Slide & Weight Stop: 25 lb weight stop up and down with a $1.00 slide.
- Terms: Heifers will be priced separately at $50 back and weighed separately on the trucks.
- Delivery: May 25th, early morning weigh-up.
3. Mark Pearson
- Cattle: 375 heifers running on wheat only (two fields).
- Description: 75% black-hided, originally purchased right here at Beaver. Longtime weaned, all the hard work is done.
- Weight: Weighing 700 to 725 lbs.
- Slide & Weight Stop: 25 lb weight stop up and down with a 20¢ slide.
- Delivery: May 20th through May 25th.
4. Caleb Nine
- Cattle: 500 steers running on wheat only.
- Description: 80% black-hided, mostly purchased through Beaver.
- Health Protocol: Top-tier health program. Two rounds of Pyramid 5 with Presponse and Vision 7.
- Slide & Terms: Early morning weigh-up with a 2% shrink and a 20¢ slide.
- Delivery: June 5th through June 15th (Rep's option).
